Overview
Token Triumph is a go-wide deck. Emmara, Soul of the Accord is a two-mana Elf Cleric, and whenever she becomes tapped you create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token with lifelink. Attacking with her, or tapping her for mana with Citanul Hierophants, makes another token.
The 99 cards are 26 creatures, 1 planeswalker, 6 artifacts, 11 enchantments, 8 instants, 8 sorceries and 39 lands. The creatures include token makers such as Hornet Queen, Jade Mage, Selesnya Evangel and Sporemound, and anthems such as Trostani Discordant and Maja, Bretagard Protector. The enchantments are mostly pump effects, including Collective Blessing, Dictate of Heliod and Commander's Insignia, and the sorceries include Overrun and Camaraderie.
Key Cards
Playing the Deck
The early game is about mana and tokens. Avacyn's Pilgrim, Leafkin Druid, Jaspera Sentinel and Farhaven Elf ramp you, Sol Ring, Arcane Signet and Talisman of Unity help with mana, and Selesnya Evangel, Jade Mage and Selesnya Guildmage create Saprolings. Emmara, Soul of the Accord wants to tap each turn, and Citanul Hierophants gives your creatures a mana ability so they can tap too.
The middle of the game is about growing the board and drawing cards. Sporemound makes a Saproling whenever a land enters, Dawn of Hope draws a card when you gain life and makes more Soldiers, Felidar Retreat makes Cats or puts counters on your team, and Rishkar, Peema Renegade and Ajani, Caller of the Pride add counters. Collective Unconscious, Camaraderie and Mentor of the Meek draw cards, and Overwhelming Instinct draws when you attack with three or more creatures.
The deck finishes with a huge pump. Overrun gives your team +3/+3 and trample, Collective Blessing and Dictate of Heliod boost the whole board, and White Sun's Zenith and March of the Multitudes add more bodies. Verdant Force makes a Saproling every upkeep, and Thunderfoot Baloth and Loyal Guardian get bigger and make the team bigger when your commander is on the battlefield.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: The deck has a lot of token makers and several powerful anthems, so a board of small creatures can become a lethal attack very quickly. It also has some good protection, such as Great Oak Guardian, Dauntless Escort and Rootborn Defenses, and interaction in Path to Exile, Devouring Light and Conclave Tribunal.
Weaknesses: A board of small tokens is vulnerable to sweepers and damage-based removal. Several of its best cards are expensive, so the deck can take a while to get going, and the best payoffs, such as Overrun, win only if the tokens survive until the turn you cast them.
