Overview

Planeswalker Party is built around the synergy between multiple planeswalkers on the battlefield simultaneously. Commodore Guff is himself a planeswalker commander with three abilities: at the beginning of your end step, put a loyalty counter on another target planeswalker you control; +1, create a 1/1 Wizard token that taps for red mana usable only on planeswalker spells; and −3, draw cards and deal that much damage to each opponent equal to the number of planeswalkers you control.

The upshot is that Guff nudges one planeswalker closer to its ultimate every single end step for free, while his own +1 makes a 1/1 Wizard that taps for {R} to cast the next planeswalker and his −3 turns a wide board of planeswalkers into a burst of cards and damage whenever you're willing to spend the loyalty. The Chain Veil and Oath of Teferi let each walker activate more than once a turn, and Repeated Reverberation can copy a powerful loyalty ability twice.

Key Cards

◈
The Chain Veil
Loyalty Multiplier · Artifact
A legendary artifact. At the beginning of your end step, if you didn't activate a loyalty ability of a planeswalker this turn, you lose 2 life. For {4} and a tap, you may activate one loyalty ability of each planeswalker you control an extra time this turn, which can double up on ultimates and +1s.
◈
Deepglow Skate
Counter Doubler · Instant Setup
When Deepglow Skate enters the battlefield, double the number of each kind of counter on any number of target permanents you control — normally every planeswalker you have out. Entering with even two or three planeswalkers on the field immediately doubles all their loyalty counts, pushing mid-loyalty walkers into ultimate range instantly. It's a plain 3/3 with no flash of its own, so it has to be cast on your own turn like any other creature, but landing it right before your main phase's planeswalker activations still lets you double counters and immediately use an ultimate that same turn.
◈
Oath of Teferi
Loyalty Doubler · Enchantment
A five-mana legendary enchantment. When it enters, exile another target permanent you control and return it at the next end step, which can reset a planeswalker or re-trigger an enter effect. You may activate the loyalty abilities of planeswalkers you control twice each turn rather than only once.
◈
Repeated Reverberation
Copy Effect · Planeswalker Support
A four-mana instant. When you next cast an instant spell, cast a sorcery spell, or activate a loyalty ability this turn, copy that spell or ability twice. Copying a loyalty ability twice can nearly triple the output of a single planeswalker activation.

Playing the Deck

The deck's setup is straightforward: deploy mana rocks, play Commodore Guff, then fill the board with planeswalkers. Guff's own +1 makes a planeswalker-only mana Wizard every turn he's active, helping cast the next walker, and his end step trigger quietly pushes one existing walker a counter closer to its ultimate every turn regardless of what else happens. Protecting those planeswalkers is the deck's primary challenge, and this precon doesn't have a wide token wall to hide behind the way some builds do — early creatures and interaction have to do that job instead.

The mid game is dominated by Oath of Teferi and The Chain Veil. With both in play, each planeswalker can activate multiple times a turn, so planeswalkers that normally take five or six turns to ultimate can do it in three or four. Gatewatch Beacon moves loyalty counters onto the planeswalkers you cast, and Guff's end-step trigger keeps adding loyalty for free.

Deepglow Skate resolving on your own turn with a couple of planeswalkers already out can double them straight into ultimate range in one shot. Closing games comes through accumulated ultimate effects: extra turns from Jace and Teferi, mass token generation from Elspeth and Gideon, or permanent removal from Kaya and Vraska.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths: The deck's loyalty acceleration is genuinely strong with the right pieces assembled. Commodore Guff provides mana, a recurring loyalty boost, and a scalable card-draw-and-burn ability all from one commander, making every turn he is in play productive. Planeswalker ultimates are among the most powerful individual effects in Commander, and this deck reaches them faster than most.

Weaknesses: Planeswalkers require defending: a single token swarm from an opponent removes every walker simultaneously without specific protection, and this deck has fewer inherent blockers than some planeswalker builds. The deck is also relatively expensive to power up significantly since powerful planeswalkers carry a market premium. Guff himself is a planeswalker too, meaning he needs protecting like any other piece, and the deck loses significant momentum when walkers are removed before their ultimates fire.

Verdict
Planeswalker Party is one of the most ambitious precon concepts in Commander Masters, and Commodore Guff delivers a genuinely novel planeswalker commander design that does several useful things at once: ramp, ongoing loyalty support, and a scalable payoff, all from the command zone. The deck rewards players who enjoy the high-ceiling gameplay of ultimate effects and scales well with investment. It is somewhat fragile to creature-heavy tables but the out-of-the-box experience is already satisfying and distinctly different from other precon play styles.
