Four Commander preconstructed decks ship with Star Trek Commander, a Universes Beyond product releasing on November 13, 2026. Each deck has a face commander and its own new mechanic. Wizards published the full decklists for We Are the Borg on 26 October 2026 and Federation Fleet on 27 October 2026, followed by Klingon Fury and Landing Party, so all four full lists are now out.
What Is In the Box
Each Star Trek Commander deck has a suggested price of $74.99, and a Collector's Edition version of each deck is $159.99. Each deck includes 32 new-to-Magic cards, a collection of reprints and a foil borderless face commander.
Federation Fleet
Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary · Jeskai (W/U/R)
Whenever another historic permanent you control with mana value 3 or greater enters, Picard draws you a card. Whenever you draw your second card each turn, seek out puts a +1/+1 counter on up to one other target creature and two charge counters on up to one target Spacecraft.
Seek out: draws cards when you play historic permanents and puts charge counters on Spacecraft. Wizards has published the full list: all 25 creatures in the 99 cards other than Picard are legendary, with five Spacecraft, eleven creatures with a seek out trigger, and board wipes such as Supreme Verdict and Chain Reaction. Read the Federation Fleet precon guide and see the full decklist.
Landing Party
Commander Spock · Bant (G/W/U)
Whenever Commander Spock enters or attacks, you reveal your top card. If its mana value is no more than the number of differently named lands you control, you may cast it for free, and a land can go onto the battlefield tapped. If the card is still on top afterwards, you draw it.
Strange new worlds: reveals the top card and casts it free based on your differently named lands. Wizards has published the full list: 32 different non-basic lands, five more cards with strange new worlds, ten cards with landfall and five Spacecraft. Read the Landing Party precon guide.
Klingon Fury
Worf, Defiant Commander · Mardu (W/B/R)
Worf creates a 2/1 red Klingon Warrior token with haste when he enters. Whenever you attack, battlefront exiles the top X cards of your library, where X is the number of opponents you attacked this turn, and you may play them until the end of your next turn.
Battlefront: exiles cards when you attack, one per opponent attacked, and lets you play them. Wizards has published the full list: 22 of the 23 creatures in the 99 cards other than Worf are Klingons or Warriors, seven other cards use battlefront, and there are three Spacecraft. Read the Klingon Fury precon guide and see the full decklist.
We Are the Borg
The Borg Queen · Esper (W/U/B)
Artifact creatures you control get +2/+2. Whenever The Borg Queen enters or attacks, target opponent exiles cards from the top of their library until they exile a creature card, and you assimilate it: it enters under your control with a +1/+1 counter as a Borg artifact creature.
Assimilate: steals a creature from the top of an opponent's library for every enter or attack. Wizards has published the full list: all 19 creatures in the 99 cards other than The Borg Queen are artifact creatures, backed by mana rocks, Spacecraft, and sweepers such as Battle of Wolf 359 and Join the Collective. Read the We Are the Borg precon guide and see the full decklist.
Other Cards Shown So Far
Several cards have been previewed from the set without saying which deck each one ships in, so we are not assigning them to a deck yet. Christine Chapel, Combat Medic is a green creature with strange new worlds: when it enters you gain life equal to the number of differently named lands you control, and whenever you gain life it gets two +1/+1 counters. Wizards says any green-based life-gain deck would love a copy.
Starship Enterprise is a colourless legendary Spacecraft. It puts four charge counters on itself whenever a land enters under your control, and becomes a flying artifact creature at 16 charge counters, drawing you cards equal to the combat damage it deals to a player. Locutus of Borg is a white-blue-black Borg artifact creature with lifelink that makes 1/1 Borg tokens when your artifact creatures deal combat damage to a player. Locutus of Borg is listed at the top of the We Are the Borg decklist, next to The Borg Queen.
