Arahbo, Roar of the World costs {3}{G}{W} and is a 5/5 Legendary Cat Avatar. Its eminence gives another target Cat you control +3/+3 at the beginning of combat on your turn while Arahbo is in the command zone or on the battlefield, and whenever another Cat you control attacks, you may pay {1}{G}{W} to give it trample and +X/+X, where X is its power. The more Cats you have, the more damage it adds.
The precon already has strong Cats and tricks, including Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist, Qasali Slingers, Fleecemane Lion, Qasali Pridemage and Hungry Lynx. Each swap below pairs a cut with an add, and every card is scored with the same numbers the Oracle uses to build decks: synergy and inclusion from the Arahbo decks, plus lift, which shows how much more often a card turns up in Arahbo decks than in decks that could play it.

What is holding the deck back
Not enough Cat lords and token makers
Regal Caracal, Feline Sovereign, Arahbo, the First Fang, King of the Pride and Adorned Pouncer boost the other Cats or make more of them. They are among the top-scoring cards the precon leaves out.
Equipment, curses and artifacts outside the lists
Grappling Hook, Hero's Blade, Staff of Nin, Hedron Archive, Dreamstone Hedron, Curse of Bounty, Curse of Vitality, Sunspear Shikari and Taj-Nar Swordsmith are not cards Arahbo decks usually play.
Situational answers outside the lists
Crushing Vines, Relic Crush and Wing Shards are narrow, and none of them is a card Arahbo decks usually play.

A four-mana 4/4 Cat that makes two 1/1 lifelink Cats tapped and attacking whenever it attacks. It costs more than a budget upgrade should. - Pride Sovereign$4.65

How the numbers work
Inclusion is the share of Arahbo, Roar of the World decks (11,734 of them when this was written, 2026-10-28) that play the card. Synergy is how much more often they play it than other decks in the same colours. Oracle score is synergy × 0.6 plus inclusion × 0.4, the same blend The Oracle uses to rank cards for a deck. Lift compares how often the card appears in these decks with how often it could, capped at 8× here; it is shown for context and does not change the score.
Two cautions. Players who run the precon unmodified count as Arahbo decks, which flatters every card the precon contains. Lift is high for many Cat cards because few decks play them outside a Cats deck, so use lift to compare cards, not to judge one in isolation. A card the commander's decks do not usually play counts as 0 in the average score. Prices are the cheapest non-foil paper printing on TCGplayer (via Scryfall), in USD, and move daily.
